Chicken synthetic peptide/keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) conjugates corresponding to two regions of the Tau gene product. These peptides corresponded to sequences shared between the mouse (P01637) and human (NP_05819) proteins, and did not contain any of the serine and threonine residues known to undergo phosphorylation.
