ELISA kit description
GENTAUR's mouse Neurotrophin-3 ELISA test is a ready to use ELISA kit. We use a monoclonal from rat specific for Neurotrophin-3 was used as capure antibodies on the ELISA test plate. The internal standards (sf21, Y139-T257) and your samples are measured with a biotin conjugated polyclonal from goat specific for Neurotrophin-3 will than be washed with PBS. The colour reaction with TMB on HRP will colour the well from blue to yellow with the stop solution. The more mouse Neurotrophin-3 in your sample the higher the ELISA signal will be compared to this elisa's standard curve.

How the elisa works
Sample the amount of 100ul/well of the standard solution at 1000 pg per ml, 500, 25, 125, 62.5, 31.25, 15.6 pg/ml mouse Neurotrophin-3 standard solutions into the precoated 96-well plate. Add 0.1ml of the sample diluent buffers into the control well (Zero well). Add 0.1ml of each properly diluted sample of mouse cell culture supernatants or serum to the ELISA plate. Keep in mind that each mouse Neurotrophin-3 standard solution and each sample be measured in duplicate.

Neurotrophin-3(NT-3) is a new member of the nerve growth factor gene family, which plays an important role in the development and maintenance of the vertebrate nervous system.NT-3 and its receptor, called neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 3(Ntrk3; also called TrkC), are expressed early and throughout embryogenesis. NT-3 is one of five neurotrophin growth factors which shape the development of the nervous system by regulating neuronal survival and differentiation. NT-3 may be one of the central nervous system-derived factors that mediate neural crest(NC) cell proliferation in vivo. NT-3 has been mapped to human chromosome 12p and mouse chromosome 6.
