NTRK1 (trkA), a Trk/Ror type protein kinase, is a high-affinity receptor for the nerve growth factor NGF. NTRK1 has been shown to regulate neural development and maintenance of neural network. Mutation in NTRK1 gene is responsible for congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA), an autosomal recessive hereditary disorder characterized by recurrent episodic fever, anhidrosis (inability to sweat), absence of reaction to noxious stimuli, self-mutilating behavior, and mental retardation. Rearrangements and fusion of NTRK1 gene to other genes have been implicated in colon and papillary thyroid cancers. Two protein isoforms have been identified.
NTRK1 antibody was made against a synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 494 of NTRK1 (Human).
Immuno application
Western Blot, immuno-histo-chemistry, immuno precipitation
Antibody advice
NTRK1 antibody can be used in ELISA, Western Blot starting at 1:500 - 1:1000, immunohistochemistry starting at 5 ug/mL, and immunofluorescence starting at 10 ug/mL.
Store NTRK1 antibody at 4 grades C or -20 grades C. As with all antibodies avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
